My partnership with The Yolk Marketplace has been an ongoing collaboration centered around growth, storytelling, and brand development. Over the years, I have worked across product development, packaging, website design, and marketing to help shape a collection of products that feel both thoughtful and distinctive.

Together, we have created more than a dozen products while evolving the brand beyond its roots in specialty kitchen goods into a lifestyle brand focused on comfort, charm, and elevating the everyday.

Our Story

What began as a two-product collaboration with Local Coffe Shop, Acme Coffee Roasting Co. quickly evolved into something much larger. Inspired by the success of the original partnership, The Yolk and I went on to develop a collection of eight signature coffee flavorings, expanding the brand into new retail spaces throughout the Monterey Bay area.

After the success of the 8-piece Modern Potions collection, we developed two signature candles inspired by some of our favorite scents and flavors from the line. Each candle was designed with intention, carrying its own personality through every detail — from the custom labels and colored jars to the carefully selected wax tones.

My work with Yolk Marketplace has spanned nearly every part of the brand’s creative development — from website creation and ongoing maintenance to product labels, packaging, and marketing materials designed to educate and sell each product. One of our most successful collaborations began with the Modern Potions collection, a line of coffee flavorings that would eventually inspire an entire family of products and help shape the future of the brand.

Following the success of the 8-piece Modern Potions collection, we explored how the line could extend beyond the coffee cup. The result was a collection of two signature candles inspired by some of our favorite scents and flavors from the series. Each candle was designed with intention, carrying its own personality through every detail — from the custom labels and colored jars to the carefully selected wax tones.

The collection continued to grow with the creation of a one-time bath salt inspired by Kitten Hug, one of Yolk Marketplace’s original signature spices. Long before I joined the brand, Kitten Hug had already become a customer favorite for its sweet flavor profile suited for coffee and baking. After Acme Coffee Roasting Co. requested a liquid version for use in their drinks, the idea for the Modern Potions collection emerged. What began as a single product concept ultimately expanded into coffee flavorings, candles, and bath products, helping transform Yolk Marketplace into a collection of over a dozen thoughtfully crafted products.
